Back in the heyday of the label, Mila Schön’s customers were First ladies and other prominent society figures who flocked to the designer’s vision of discreet yet fashion-forward elegance. Without its late founder, the house faces the challenges of renewing its aesthetic, and conserving its relevance and identity. In 2015, her successors have gone towards experimentation in volumes and shapes to bring modernity and even futurism to the brand. For Mila Schön, it was time to bring about the future. To this end, the hall of the Milan Triennale, with its vast sweeping volumes and stern geometric beauty, echoed a collection in which the round, the line and the triangle provided the base elements for a collection conceived in three dimensions.
